Colesbourne Gardens is the premier place to enjoy magnificent snowdrops in bloom. With ten acres of private gardens and woodland walks boasting a mixture of snowdrops, hellebores, cyclamen and a wide variety of early flowering shrubs this is a perfect winter day out.
The Gardens include an arboretum of rare trees privately collected over the past 120 years, many of which are Champion trees listed in the Tree Register of the British Isles.
Our visit includes a short presentation that includes the history of Colesbourne Park and the Elwes family and a brief introduction to the amazing diversity of snowdrops. This is followed by a guided walk around the grounds, giving the opportunity to see both the massed plantings and the collection of rare snowdrops. Refreshments included.
