Day One – After departing the midlands we make our way to Kent with a stop along the way to explore the historic city of St. Albans with its imposing Cathedral which has the longest nave in England. The cathedral has an extensive collection of medieval wall paintings and is rich in history.
Day Two – Today we follow the footsteps of Dickens with a full day to visit Rochester, a city of ‘Great Expectations’ for a guided walking tour. Rochester has a Norman castle with history dating back centuries, the stunning cathedral is the second oldest in England. You will also have time to visit the Christmas Market set in the spectacular Castle Gardens.
Day Three – Today’s excursion will take to you to Leeds Castle decorated beautifully for Christmas with ‘Nutcracker’ as the theme. This glamorous and historic castle will be transformed for an enchanting experience.
Day Four – After breakfast we head to the medieval walled city of Canterbury where you can wind your way around the cobbled streets and historic sights or visit the breathtaking Cathedral (admission not included).
