Autumn 2020 Day Trips

As lockdown eases it’s time to start exploring again. If you’re looking for a change of scenery and a great day out this Autumn then book yourself a seat on one of our day excursions. Wednesday 2nd September

Tewkesbury (market day)

Spend the day exploring the beautiful market town of Tewkesbury with stunning riverside areas and a wealth of medieval black and white half-timbered buildings dominated by the 12th century Abbey.

Sunday 6th September


If you missed out on your holiday this year, then a day out at the Victorian seaside resort of Hunstanton with its wide open spaces, gardens and large sandy beach will give you the opportunity to get away for a day.

Monday 14th September

St.Ives and Ely

Explore the picturesque market town of St.Ives with its attractive buildings and old quayside. Then on to Ely with a wealth of things to see and do, the best way to discover England’s second smallest city by taking a stroll along the famous Eel trail with its beautiful parks, markets and riverside.

Sunday 20th September

Sheringham and West Runton

Get away for the day and enjoy the sea air with a visit to the traditional seaside town of Sheringham boasting scenic walks along the promenade with its colourful beach huts and blue flag beach. This excursion has the option to visit the expansive sands at West Runton. See what you can find in the rock pools at low tide or enjoy a walk along the surrounding footpaths.

Wednesday 23rd September


A firm favourite with our day trip customers, on the banks of the river Avon, Shakespeare’s home town of Stratford is steeped in culture, heritage and history. Shakespeare’s birthplace has re-opened and is worth a visit, to limit the numbers of visitors in the museum you will need to book your admission tickets in advance.

Sunday 4th October


Take a wander around the beautiful university city of Cambridge, with its many museums and galleries or take a stroll or punt along the river Cam. You’ll find plenty of history and lots to see and do.

Sunday 11th October


Enjoy a day out in the medieval town of Shrewsbury with its Tudor centre, half-timbered houses and red brick castle all sitting inside a delightful loop of the river Severn.
