Customer Service Representative (Full-time)

Summary: Working as part of a small, friendly team you will use your customer-facing experience in customer service or sales to help our customers with their enquiries and bookings.

We are an independent family run coach operator providing travel and private hire for groups and corporate customers as well as operating a successful programme of day trips and holidays.

About the Role
Swift Valley Coach Travel is on the lookout for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in our Booking Office in Lutterworth on a full-time basis during our opening hours of 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (may include some Saturdays). Reporting to the Customer Service Team Leader your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Answering incoming calls and emails from our customers.
• Greet customers face-to-face
• Process customer bookings using our systems
• Handle and respond to customer enquiries
• Maintain strong relationships with our current customer base
• Foster strong relationships with new and potential customers
• Provide administrative support as required to facilitate the smooth running of operations
• Provide administrative support to the Customer Service Team Leader and Managers as and when required.

Skills and Experience

• Experience in a Customer Service or Sales Support role
• Proven ability to work well in busy environments and with strict time constraints
• Competency with Microsoft Word and Excel and the ability to adapt to working with new systems (manual and computerised)
• Proven ability in a professional environment for attention to detail and to process and pass on information with clarity and accuracy
• Proven ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively.

PCV Coach Driver (Full-time)

We are looking to recruit an experienced and versatile PCV Coach Driver to cover a variety of work including private hire, corporate hire, contract work, day trips/tour work and schools. We believe in providing an all-round excellent quality of service and reliability to our customers.

As one of our drivers you will not only be able to demonstrate that you are a good driver but possess great customer service skills, excellent time keeping and have a sense of pride in your work. The job will involve checking passengers on and off coaches, working to planned itineraries, keeping the coaches presentable to a high standard, and ensuring that all journeys are completed in a professional, timely and safe manner, whilst being an excellent ambassador for the company.

Previous experience of coach work is desirable but not essential. If you are currently working as a bus or coach driver on scheduled routes/services but would like to transition to coach work, where every day is different, then training can be given to the right candidate.

Candidates must be available to commence employment during the first quarter of 2026 to undertake training in readiness for 2026 season.

You will need:

• Valid full PCV Licence
• Digital Tachograph Driver Card
• Valid Driver CPC
• Enhanced DBS Certificate desirable

You will need to available for interview and driving assessment during office hours.
