ROUTE B – Lutterworth, Broughton Astley & Rugby

The city of Canterbury is steeped in history and in its heart you are surrounded by breathtaking architecture.  Canterbury Cathedral is one of the most important historic sites in the world dating back to the 11th Century.  Many historical events have taken place here from the planning of the Magna Carta to the murder of Archbishop Thomas Beckett.  The Cathedral together with St Augustine’s Abbey and St Martin’s Church make up a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  If that wasn’t enough history for you then why not head to Canterbury’s Roman Museum situated on the site of a Roman villa.  There is so much to see and do in Canterbury you will want to visit again and again.
