As you would expect from a capital city, Cardiff, has many attractions to explore. The city itself is compact and easy to get around with its friendly feel, seamlessly blending Welsh culture within a modern city. Why not visit the spectacular Cardiff Castle or Cardiff National Museum which hosts a huge collection of Impressionist art? Or explore the city’s arcades, dating back to Victorian and Edwardian times to browse independent shops and boutiques or have a bite to eat in one of the lovely family-run cafes. You will find the world’s oldest record shop here, Spillers Records and a board game shop for enthusiasts. Cardiff also has a large modern shopping centre, St. David’s, with high street brands which is a 5 minute walk away from the arcades.
