New for 2025 season! Join us for a day out visiting two charming towns on the River Thames in Oxfordshire. In our opinion the River Thames is the most scenic as it journeys through the Oxfordshire countryside and its idyllic towns. On this tour we visit Henley, a firm favourite, a wonderful riverside location surrounded by a Chiltern landscape of wooded hills and lush green fields. A place to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere alongside the river or indulge in a little shopping in its independent, quirky shops.
We also visit Wallingford, with a rich history and beautiful riverside and another great destination for a day trip. It is easy to while away the time exploring the independent shops and antique stores, taking a stroll around the Castle Gardens, the former site of one of England’s most impressive castles, or visit the museum to discover more about Agatha Christie and her home for over 40 years.
