This is a lovely day out in Thriplow, a charming village in Cambridgeshire for a Country Fair and a stunning show of daffodils heralding the start of spring. Join us for a day out to Thriplow Daffodils which started back in 1969 to experience the warm and friendly atmosphere of a well-loved charity fundraising event, run entirely by a team of 400 local volunteers.
With over 100 craft, food and artisan stalls to browse including, beer, hot drinks and cakes, demonstrations from the blacksmiths at work in the Smithy as well as entertainment from the merry morris dancers and live music all around the village this truly is a delightful way to start spring and of course there are the daffodils.
There are over 500,000 daffodil bulbs planted around the village, there are now 100 different varieties on show and you can wander around the village to see the stunning displays.
This wonderful spring day trip is a favourite with our customers who return again, year after year, to enjoy the traditional atmosphere and wholesome entertainment.
Please note: Thriplow is an outdoor event, located in the village, please wear comfortable footwear, warm clothing and be prepared for the weather in March.
