One of our favourite photos of 2025, taken by Lino in August whilst on our Thames Riverside Towns Day Trip.
The charming town of Wallingford was just one of the lovely towns we visited and was the home to Agatha Christie and her archeologist husband Sir Max Mallowan until Agatha passed away in 1976.
Wallingford has a rich history and a beautiful riverside with a lovely mix of independents and antique shops to while away the time. Whether you take a leisurely stroll around the castle gardens or sit and watch the world go by from one of the many cafes and tearooms it is a perfect destination for a day trip.
We have more great destinations for you to enjoy in 2026 and our popular Thames Riverside Towns Tour will feature once again with new places to discover.
2026 brochures will be out during January.
