Colesbourne Gardens is the premier place to see snowdrops in bloom! The collection is probably one of the most varied collections on display. The Colesbourne estate lies in the beautiful Churn Valley halfway between Cheltenham and Cirencester with over 10 acres of private gardens. Enjoy a stunning mixture of snowdrops, hellebores, cyclamen and a wide variety of early flowering shrubs.
On this day trip you will get the opportunity to enjoy a short visit to Stow on the Wold, a quintessentially English town in the Cotswolds where you can browse the shops and purchase a light bite to eat.
We will then transfer you to Colesbourne, where on arrival you will be greeted with tea or coffee and cake before the highlight of the day. Your trip includes an exclusive guided tour with Sir Henry Elwes and Head Gardener Katie Reynolds for a uniquely personal look at the snowdrop collection and gardens. You will hear a short presentation on the history of the Colesbourne Estate and the Elwes family as well as an introduction to the amazing diversity of snowdrops followed by an interesting and engaging guided walk around the grounds.
Join us for this extremely popular annual trip for an exclusive and informative guided snowdrop tour of Colesbourne Gardens.
