ROUTE A + MH

What better way to spend a summer day in June than in a beautiful setting by the river.  Henley on Thames is a picturesque riverside location on the Oxfordshire Thames surrounded by a Chiltern landscape of wooded hills and green fields where you enjoy a relaxing day, a long lunch and some quirky shopping.  The town is made up of many historic buildings with lots of local shops and boutiques to browse.  You can enjoy coffee or lunch in the main market square or take a stroll to Henley Bridge, built in 1786, and just 2 mintues away you will find the quintessential Friday Street, well-known and loved for its intriguing and historic buildings giving a feel for the Victorian era.

Or why not hop on one of the public river sightseeing cruises that operate out of Henley where you really can discover the beauty of the river Thames.
