This day trip gives you the opportunity to explore Winchester, where Jane Austen died in a house in College Street before being laid to rest in Winchester Cathedral.  Winchester is a culturally rich medieval city and the Cathedral is well worth a visit.

We then transfer you to the village of Chawton to Jane Austen’s house, it was within these walls that Jane wrote and revised her six beloved novels.  Today the house is a museum where you can discover and unparalleled collection of Austen treasures.
