Join us for a day out in the heart of Wakefield at the Rhubarb Festival in the shadow of the stunning Cathedral celebrating Wakefield’s most famous vegetable.
This food and drink market is one of the first food and drinks festivals in the national calendar with over 60 chalets where you can sample and purchase local and regional delights including everything from the finest gins, jams, pickles, cheese, baked goods and so much more!
With chef demos and workshops featuring finalists from the Great British Bake Off, Great British Menu and MasterChef there is plenty to see, do and sample from within the infamous ‘Rhubarb Triangle’. Look out for the lively street entertainers including appearances from Dame Ruby Rhubarb and performances from the Wakefield Morris Dancers.
